ILR #295823
Date of Birth 10/13/21
Guess who came to live with us on August 20? Llamatier Mercury!!! We have loved this little boy from the day he was born (October 13, 2021). You see, his mother is Elevenses Meili, who we sold to Justin Pelletier four years ago. Meili’s dad is our Trouble, so Mercury is Trouble’s grandson. When Trouble retires, Mercury will assume Trouble’s herdsire responsibilities. Thank you, Justin for bringing Mercury to us right after he won first place at the West Virginia State Fair llama show and for letting us keep Trouble’s genes alive! You have some very big shoes to fill, Mercury!!!!
KJS Syncopation
ILR #282708
Date of Birth 10/20/18
We are waiting for Syncopation’s first progeny. We couldn’t be more excited!
Westerham’s Sirius Trouble
ILR # 258828
Date of Birth 5/17/04
Trouble’s father is FVL Sirius, one of the top herdsires in the country. Trouble’s mother is the famous BAL Copy Cat, a great big girl with GNLC Catman, Cara Mia, and LaRaya Peru in her pedigree. Trouble is no slouch himself, as he was a Double Grand Champion at the Western Ohio Triple Crown and is an ALSA Champion.
Trouble had not been used as a herdsire when we purchased him, so we are exceptionally excited to see what he does. We are expecting crias with silky fiber, exceptional conformation, and calm, gentle personalities!
Our thanks go to John and Debra McDougall for this outstanding picture of Trouble.
PPR Thunder Thief
ILR# 277988
Date of Birth 6/12/2009
In just another couple of weeks, Thunder strolled onto our farm and literally stole my heart! He is gentle, intelligent, and confident. But you know what? This boy is SILLY! You can just hear his narrative: “I can go out to pasture! And then I can come back in the paddock! I can check out my girls and say Hi to the donkeys! I wonder if they are going to feed me again? Maybe I will go back out to the pasture!” He just seems to be so happy here! We couldn’t be happier with this boy!
Betelgeuse’s father is Newevo Estilo, by the impressive Newevo, and his mother is Bradford Kat Ba-Lou, by White Heat, by the incomparable Top Flight. Thunder is completely outcross to any llama on our farm. We can combine his impressive pedigree with any female we have.
